Most recent: Tenevo Renewable Project is a 242 MWp solar power plant co-located with 311 MW / 772,5 MWh BESS in Southern Bulgaria. The PV par of Tenevo project is one of the biggest Single Axis Tracker solar parks in South East Europe. In 2025 the first phase of the project was successfully launched and by Q1 of 2026 the whole solar part was commissioned. Phase 1 of the BESS (65 MW / 260 MWh) have been put into operation in 2025 as well. This is one of the biggest co-located BESS projects in Europe to date. In early 2026 the Tenevo project formed Bulgaria’s largest hybrid energy project, integrating solar and battery storage. Phase 2 of the BESS part of the project is currently under construction with additional 144MW / 300 MWh. Phase 3 will add another 102MW / 212,5 MWh forming the completed 311 MW/772,5 MWh co-located BESS on the site.

Located on a former airport near the town of Tenevo, Tundzha Municipality in South East Bulgaria, the site offers ideal conditions for the installation of ZIMMERMANN Single Axis Trackers and maximum power production during operation.
